ECHO (pronounced Etch-Oh) Saturday, June 18, 2005 So yes, I miss ECHO. ECHO is a very cool place, and the yearly mission trips to ECHO are some of the most oisome times one can ever have. Seriously. If you've never gone to ECHO and are eligable to do so, you totally should go. I can pretty much guaruntee that 'twill be one of the best times of your life. It's just amazing the bonds you develop with the peolpe on your team. You get to know people better, and love them more. 'Tis amazing. For me that is the best part of ECHO - the people aspect. But, that's not all! There's also the experience of being able to go to Florida, which includes doing a bunch of cool things there (apart from ECHO, I mean) such as going to the beach and other places (which vary), then there's getting to be at ECHO, which is a phantasmagorical place. 'Tis pretty much impossible to explain why it's such a cool place to someone who hasn't been there and seen it. And there's more. But I won't go into more details at the moment. So, yes, as I said before, I miss ECHO. ECHO is a very cool place, and the yearly mission trips to ECHO are some of the most oisome times one can ever have... I repeat myself, but oh well, 'tis for emphasis. I miss everyone on my trip, honestly some more than others, but everyone I truly do miss... (well, actually, I guess I kind of don't really miss my family... 'cause I live with them and all, but everyone else I miss... and actually, C and M aren't here at the moment, so I miss them). I love those guys. All of them. And I miss ECHO and the staff and interns. And the church. And the vans and truck. And lizards. And Wal-Mart. And Weezer (among other music). And more. And even the heat and humidity (to an extent, mind you). And fire ants, totally. And machetes (tho I brought one home). And et cetera (&etc.). Or should I say &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc., &etc. That is probably closer to being true. Okay, I'm really mad... I hate it when you write something and then the computer deletes it!!!! Ack, BUT, at least Blogger saved like half of it! Umm... I'll try to kind of ad-lib some more of it. I said something like: I miss ECHO. ECHO is a very cool place, and the yearly mission trips to ECHO are some of the most oisome times one can ever have. And then I mentioned how we need to figure out a date for the ECHO get-together/reunion thingy. And some more stuff, like how I remembered how I wanted to go to see off ECHO team I tomorrow at 7... which is uber-early, but 'twil be worth it, and then how I need to go to bed... and how I could write so much more concerning ECHO but I won't. And how I love you guys (in a Christian-brotherly-love-kind-of-way). Peace out. -Eahbtwo- song of the post: 'Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely' by the Backstreet Boys quote of the post: 'G-Birds' by Micah Humphreys -I miss that... and so much more... verse of the post: 'I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy, for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete [it] until the day of Jesus Christ; just as it is right for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart, inasmuch as both in my chains and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you all are partakers with me of grace. For God is my witness, how greatly I long for you all with the affection of Jesus Christ.' by God, through Paul, in Philippians 1, verses 3 through 4 allen left to contemplate other things at 2:14 AM ### |
